Charities named for Austal USA's 13th annual Charity Golf Invitational
MOBILE, Ala. – Austal USA’s 13th annual Charity Golf Invitational will take place on March 15, 2024, at the Magnolia Grove Golf Course in Mobile. Through this annual event, Austal USA and the many invitational participants have raised over $2.4 million for long-time event partner United Way of Southwest Alabama and other local charities within the last decade. The charity invitational is one of the many ways Austal USA gives back to the community who’s enduring support has resulted in our success as a major defense contractor.
This year’s recipients of the proceeds of the golf tournament will be United Way of Southwest Alabama; Penelope House shelter and advocacy center for victims of domestic violence and their children; Wilmer Hall Children’s Home; McKemie Place temporary housing shelter for women; and, H2Overcome – an adventure-based peer support program for veterans, active duty members, first responders, and their family members.

It provides our team an opportunity to give back to our community.”
