Austal USA's Catherine Reynolds recognized for professional excellence and community commitment
MOBILE, Ala. – Austal USA’s Catherine Reynolds was recognized as a Mobile Bay 40 Under 40 honoree this week. The 40 Under 40 program recognizes individuals younger than age 40 who demonstrate leadership, professional excellence and a commitment to the Bay area community. This honor has been bestowed upon an elite group of local professionals and community leaders for over a decade.
Reynolds was selected for the honor in recognition of her determination, drive for self-improvement and inspiring leadership approach as well as for her promotion of recreational opportunities throughout the Bay area. As Austal USA’s Security Administration Manager, Reynolds is a subject matter expert on defense industrial security requirements.

Reynolds has been a security professional for over 10 years, having worked at Austal USA since 2014. She is deeply involved in community athletics on the Baldwin County, Ala. Eastern Shore as the owner of Fairhope Swim and is in her fourth year as coach of the Bayshore High School swim team. Reynolds has a master’s degree and is a member of the National Classification Management Society and the Industrial Security Awareness Council.
